Look what the hard drive dragged in - 11/05/06 4:26pm

Apparently I still have this kicking around on the old C: drive. This is why saving things/making backups is important, you never have any idea how funny something will be until years later.

The Story

I only vaguely remember this one, it was one of many fights between Melissa and me, as such they all sorta run together. According to the timestamp on the file, this occurred circa October of 2004, a little over two years ago. I think this was the night after Steve and I pulled the infamous "we have the same phone and they got mixed up" routine, which logically makes sense as it was also around the time I was trying to hook up with Kelsey, and would which subsequently explain why Melissa was being so crazy.

I think the only reason I saved it is because of the sweet analogy made by "Vmswshct", whomever that may be, linking my life to Dave Chappelle's: When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong. I wish I had saved the _original_ away message, the one that got her in such a tiff; alas in the future I will have to more diligent about such things. That reminds me, I've been using Gaim for a long time, I must have a gold mine of chat logs!

Heh, I reviewed a couple of months worth of chats between Melissa and me, and aside from the whole her-lying-to-me thing near the end, a lot of it was pretty funny. Take this example from a debate of what to do after I graduated from Northeastern:

	(01:47:30) Melissa3100: since i wanted to see strippers on my birthday and you wouldn't go

	(01:48:30) Melissa3100: hookers are no better either

Apparently, I'm pretty predictable.
